Legacy is an innovative fantasy-drama which blurs the line between genres to explore issues of personal responsibility and culpability within a candid plot about teenage pregnancy.
During an argument with her father, Leah is accidentally knocked unconscious. She wakes up in a miraculous world where she meets some strange characters who all represent different opinions and options for her future.
Made by young people with the help of Durham County Council and Superkrush Films, 'Legacy' explores the journey from childhood to adulthood, tackling issues of identity, responsibility and personal development - it realistically portrays lives of young people today and gives them a voice where they would normally go unheard.
