Funding/Courses/Training
- Skillset is the industry body, which supports skills and training for people and businesses to ensure the UK creative industries maintain there world-class position.
- Ideas Tap is a creative network and funding body for emerging arts talent, bringing young creative people together. and offering cash funding, opportunities and a portfolio to showcase your work,
- The Prince's Trust has a variety of funding. Up to £3,000 is available for young people to design set up a project that will benefit there local community.
- Grants are available each year for scriptwriting and filmmaking project through the young film fund for 15-19 year olds.
- ITV fixers is a major media campaign for 16-25 year olds. They help young people tackle the problems they care about by making films to be showcased on ITV's online channel.
- Umbro Industries aims to support creative energy in the manchester area and gives out £10,000 every three months to manchester based innovators.
