As part of Film-Its project 'Straight into Film' six groups of young offenders and those at risk of offending made their own films. Working with professionals in the film industry, the young people controlled the whole filmmaking process, from deciding on the content to shooting and editing the final film and organising its distribution.
This lighthearted film depicts a young man, from a very different social background, moving to a new area and the trouble he has trying to make new friends.
Thomas, who worked on the film, said, “We don’t want people to think we’re bad just because we’re young. It’s been a great experience working as a team and at the end of it we’ve made something to be proud of.”
