This film is part of the Fostering Reality project, a four part docudrama series looking at life for young people in foster care.
Annie May’s Story looks at the difficulties some young people have trusting adults with their secrets, especially when they have been let down so many times before.
Karen Pearson, who worked on Fostering Reality, said "The Mediabox grant actually enabled the group behind this project to form. With their help the young people went on to plan, research and develop storylines and characters, as well as learn interviewing and film-making skills."
