This film is part of the Fostering Reality project, a four part docudrama series looking at life for young people in foster care.
Luke’s Story focuses on the issue of bullying and how domestic violence affects young people. Luke’s problems double when the place he feels safest, school, becomes as difficult as his home life
Karen Pearson, who worked on Fostering Reality, said "The Mediabox grant actually enabled the group behind this project to form. With their help the young people went on to plan, research and develop storylines and characters, as well as learn interviewing and film-making skills."
