An Uphill Struggle

‘An Uphill Struggle’ was funded through My Mediabox, which offers individual young people funding for a one-off media project, along with specialist production training.
This film uses animation to show the problems that young people with learning difficulties encounter on a daily basis, which the majority of people are unaware of, and also shows how young people are affected by the attitudes of others when they try to be independent.
One of the mentors on the project said, “the students were able to understand the process of creating their own scenes by adding photographs together and when the scenes were completed with the different elements of music and speech added, they were very proud of their work.”
