The Only Release was funded through My Mediabox, which offers individual young people funding for a one-off media project, along with specialist production training.
A short drama about a confused teenager turns to self harming due to bullying. It explores issues of cyber bullying and self harm, an issue that affects a wide range of people from all social backgrounds.
Kit Bradshaw, a Co-Director of the film, said, “Without Mediabox we would not have been able to gain the equipment required or get the expert help. Mediabox is an excellent initiative and should definitely continue in the future.”
