The ‘South East Ethnography’ project enabled a group of twelve students from Greenwich Community College in South East London to produce and direct three short documentary films about identity in spaces and places in their local community.
For more than a decade the market has been a source of food, clothing and conversation. It has always been an alternative to the local supermarket, a place of culture and diversity. This film is an exploration of the multicultural Woolwich Market and the stories of the traders.
