From No Hope to High Hope
From No Hope to High Hopes is a thirty-minute documentary charting V-Flex Sandwell’s Youth Action Team’s attempts to change the tide of underachievement within Sandwell Schools.
Working with pupils from Shireland Collegiate Academy and Ormiston Sandwell Academy, the YAT have created their own documentary that aims to understand the reason why the young people within these schools are struggling academically and their obstacles to achievement.
The High Hopes project, which this short documentary follows, was developed by the YAT who felt they were failed by the school system and now wish to support young people to stay in academia.
