Susan Pearson, a Jewish refugee lived in the relatively peaceful Prague, a liberal country until 1939 when the Nazi’s invaded. In this moving documentary, she recounts that day in June 1939 just after her eleventh birthday when she was one of 230 children put on the kinder transport to Holland. Casha Nur, a Somalian refugee experienced war torn Somalia, before she decided enough was enough and left her whole family behind to start a life here. She recounts the loneliness of having to take this courageous step.
