MY MEDIABOX
Our Very Own England was funded through My Mediabox, which offers individual young people funding for a one-off media project, along with specialist production training.
A young interracial couple must face prejudice of the society all around them whilst trying to discover their own sense of identity in the turmoil of exams and other teenage pressures.
Joseph Martin, the writer and director, said, “Mediabox enabled me to make this film, find a group of other young filmmakers I can work with and to express issues that I care about. I can’t thank Mediabox enough.”
