Alienation

BIG MEDIABOX
The young people involved in this project hope it will educate, inform and demystify the misconceptions surrounding autism in our society, and in turn promote tolerance, acceptance and a deeper understanding of an under represented life long disability. The films show that with a little patience, guidance and understanding, autistic teenagers can offer a unique perspective on life and have the ability and talent to be valuable members of our society.

Nathan Shepherd, the writer and director, said, “In my life Aspergers has affected how I connect with people. With my film I show how people can become alienated from everyone around them and be persuaded into something not right for them.”
