'Day by Day' is a drama about a young brother and sister who just about cope with taking care of their sick mother. They are both devastated when they arrive home to find her collapsed on the floor. In the hospital they anxiously await both their mothers and their own fate.
The film was created by Sefton PSS Young Carers from concept through to the completed film. The young people involved wanted to portray similar events to their own lives through this film explaining that they would like others to understand their situation but not sympathise for them as they enjoy what they achieve as young carers.
