Kamran's Story

“Kamran's Story”  was made as part of the Mediabox funded project “Home to Home”. The films were made by young unaccompanied asylum seekers aged between 14-17. The young people came from countries including Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and China. They produced all the scripts, designs, models, animation and sound for the films.

Wendy Catterick, the Project Coordinator, said, “The making of this film gave the chance for a group of unaccompanied asylum seeking young people to learn all aspects of filmmaking and animation. They produced the films with the aim of illustrating aspects of their lives and giving the audience a better understanding of their situation.”
