We Are The Word - Silence is Golden

Young people from Northampton and Kettering representing different cultural origins produced numerous images and digital stories that demonstrate shared values amongst cultural diversity. The project applied a multi-media approach, producing a DVD with the participants explaining the themes they chose, images expressing the participants' social backgrounds and an exhibition.
In a bleak urban environment the greys of our immediate surroundings can begin to stifle us. 'Silence is Golden' follows a young artist who combats the city's oppression with colour, shape and creativity.
